A successful debut: the first KEEPERbattle Kids in Germany
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the first KEEPERbattle Kids in Germany was successfully held. Thirty-five young goalkeepers from two countries—Germany and Austria—took on the challenge in three age groups at the TSV Eintracht Karlsfeld sports park near Munich. The on-site organizer was the Adi Music Goalkeeper School. On three courts running simultaneously, the focus was on reflexes, courage, and determination.
Goalie against goalie, offense against defense. That’s exactly what KEEPERbattle is all about. Lots of goals, loud cheers, genuine tears, and above all, plenty of fair play. Even the youngest goalies showed that, as individual athletes, goalies can take full responsibility.
A Young Final, a Clear Statement
Court 3 provided the highlight of the day in the Young Stars age group (born in 2015/16). Vincent Probst marched through the competition without a single loss and secured a decisive 5-0 victory over Elias Lutsch in the final. And there’s a special twist: Lutsch is one of the youngest goalkeepers in the entire tournament, born in June 2016. Battling his way through the older competitors all the way to the final—that’s the true KEEPERbattle spirit.
