Why Aqua Glue Makes All the Difference in the Rain

Standard latex loses its grip when wet—precisely when it’s needed most. A wet ball slips right through standard latex surfaces, and that’s often what decides the outcome of a game. Aqua Glue is designed specifically for these conditions and provides grip where standard latex falls short.

✅ Water-repellent formula stays effective even on soaked latex surfaces
✅ No drying time—ready
to use immediately after application ✅ Works regardless of the glove’s latex type

  • Designed for real-world playing conditions

Rain rarely comes with a warning. Whether it’s steady rain, a brief shower at halftime, or a consistently damp winter field: Aqua Glue is designed to handle the full range of wet conditions, not just extreme cases.

✅ Ideal for games in the rain, the winter season, and consistently damp fields
✅ Works even during sudden weather changes during the game
✅ Not a miracle cure for heavy, persistent rain, but it makes all the difference in wet conditions

Based on Need Rather Than Routine

Aqua Glue isn't a product for every game, but rather for the exact conditions in which it's truly needed. If you use it specifically in wet conditions—rather than making it part of your regular routine—you'll get the most out of both your glove and the product.

✅ Use in rain, wet conditions, or on a damp playing surface
✅ Not necessary in dry weather—Grip Glue
takes care of it then ✅ Adapts to actual weather conditions, not to a fixed schedule

  • Aqua Glue vs. Products Containing Vaseline

Aqua Glue was developed specifically for wet goalkeeper latex, not as a standard care product from the drugstore, as is the case with products containing petroleum jelly. While petroleum jelly leaves an oily film on the latex that tends to reduce grip when the ball is touched, Aqua Glue provides genuine tackiness on wet surfaces, with no waiting time at all. Products containing petroleum jelly are also nearly impossible to wash out completely; residues continue to build up with each use and gradually damage the latex over time. Furthermore, they attract dust and dirt, which further reduces grip and shortens the glove’s lifespan. Aqua Glue, on the other hand, is part of the KEEPERsport Care System and washes out without leaving any residue; as a result, it cares for the latex rather than damaging it over time.

The Right Amount

For optimal results, just a fingertip’s worth of Aqua Glue is all you need. Using too much product doesn’t provide any additional grip; on the contrary, a layer that’s too thick can impair your feel for the ball and is harder to wash off completely afterward. Simply rub a fingertip’s worth into the palm of your hand—that’s it—and you’re ready to go with no drying time required. After the game, clean your gloves as usual with the KEEPERsport Glove Cleaner to prevent residue buildup.
