Do I need to prepare the glove before the first game?

Yes. Before using it for the first time, rinse it briefly to remove any soap residue from production, and break it in during one or two practice sessions. Before the match, moisten the glove with warm water at least 2 hours in advance; slightly damp latex provides a better grip than dry latex.

How do I wash the glove properly?

Hand wash only with lukewarm water, max. 40 degrees. Never put in the washing machine. Never dry on a radiator, with a hair dryer, or in direct sunlight—this will make the latex brittle.

Is the grip abrasion-resistant over time?

Worn-away palm latex is normal wear and tear, not a defect: the more grippy the foam, the faster the natural wear. This is by design.
